WHAT IS REIKI?

REIKI (pronounced "Ray-Key") is a Japanese word that means "universal life force energy".

REIKI is a specific technique to reduce stress and help you to relax. It allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve health and enhance the quality of life.

REIKI is a way of gaining access to your inner healing powers. It is an effective way to prevent illness and restore energy imbalances on all levels of your being.

The REIKI therapist is a "channel" for the REIKI energy and activates your natural ability to heal yourself.

REIKI is a simple, natural, and safe method of healing and self-improvement for everyone.

Our company provides REIKI treatments and courses. When you take a course and learn to do REIKI yourself, you will retain the ability to use REIKI for the rest of your life and benefit yourself and others.

TREATMENTS

A personalised treatment lasts about one hour.

The client lies fully clothed on a couch while the therapist allows his or her hands to rest in certain positions on the client's body.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through you and surrounds you. REIKI treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well being. Many have reported miraculous results.

A REIKI treatment revitalises energy and relieves pain and stress. It supports the body's natural ability to heal itself and is an effective method for the prevention and treatment of energy imbalances and medical problems. It safely complements all other forms of medical treatment.

As energy comes back into balance, stress and tension are released and you will have a deep sense of relaxation and a feeling of well being.

COURSES

An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use REIKI is not taught in the usual sense but is transferred to the student by the REIKI Master during a REIKI course. Its use is not dependent on intellectual capacity or spiritual development and, therefore, is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

Taking a REIKI course gives students the ability to use REIKI on themselves and others to relieve stress, improve health and enhance the quality of life.

HOW TO LEARN REIKI

Reiki is taught by a certified Reiki Master/Teacher in "degrees".

First Degree
Reiki One
The 6-hour course consists of four attunements and teaches how to give REIKI treatments to yourself and others. It will bring about a profound, subtle and positive change in your life.

Second Degree
Reiki Two
REIKI is based on the use of sacred symbols which, when activated, evoke healing energies. In this course you learn the symbols, how to empower your healing energies, emotional healing and a distance healing technique. You also receive an attunement to activate and elevate the power of the symbols.

Third Degree
Reiki Master
This includes initiation into the level of Master and requires a deep commitment to personal growth. You learn additional powers of healing and become qualified to initiate and teach others so that they can channel REIKI.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE THERAPIST/TEACHER

Monica Dobbie learnt Reiki in 1995 in order to use it on herself to relieve pain. She was so impressed with the results that she became a Master and Teacher in 1997. She gives Reiki treatments and teaches all 3 levels of the Usui Natural System of Healing. Reiki is not "taught" in the usual sense but is "transferred" to the student by a Reiki Master during a Reiki training course.

She is a Touch for Health Practitioner, a Licensed Avatar Master and a Feng Shui Consultant. She has practiced Meditation for over 25 years and has extensive experience of many Western and Oriental healing arts.

In addition, Monica is an Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist licensed to practice hypnotherapy and teach self-hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also a Practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
